One of my favorite ways to procrastinate is by watching prop makers on YouTube make cool props and armor from easy to find supplies such as craft foam, cardboard, spray paint and crazy glue. In my opinion, one of the best prop creators from YouTube is Odin from Odin Makes. He has a down to earth approach to each build that really makes you believe that it’s possible for even inexperienced builders to recreate what Odin has just made.
This time around, Odin tackles a project that would make your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man proud and that project is a couple of web shooters. I mean, who would Spider-Man be without his web shooters? Right?
With some simple supplies that you could find at any local hobby store or even at the dollar store, Odin walks you through the steps needed to take craft foam and transform it into these incredible looking web shooters. The fact that these can be made for not a lot of money and with things I can find locally really makes me want to try building a pair myself.
Now that Spider-Man: Homecoming has been out for a while, do you think you’ll try and make your own web shooters? Share your summer project build ideas in the comments below.
