Kickstarter has quickly grown to be an amazing platform that is filled with passionate individuals and teams who are looking for funds to help bring those passions from dream to reality. Each week here on House Of The Geeks we are going to take a look at one Kickstarter project we think more people should know about and hopefully even support.
Is there anything more fun than getting together with a group of friends and trying to survive the zombie/alien/nuclear apocalypse that has taken place? If there is, I can’t think of it. While going head to head against friends to determine a winner is always a good time, for my money, I enjoy a good co-op game that involves strategy, working together and planning in order to succeed.
Maximum Apocolypse is a recent Kickstarter title for 1-6 player where you assume the role of a survivor (Surgeon, Fireman, Hunter, Gunslinger, Veteran, Mechanic and Dog) each with a different set of attributes and working together your team must survive. The set up for Maximum Apocolypse is unique in the fact that each game will different each time you play it. The scenario is random and the map that is created is random as well which leads to a good amount of replayability within the game.
As a huge fan of co-op games I am really excited to play Maximum Apocalypse it has great looking artwork, random map generation and random scenarios and a variety of survivor cards that will making playing the game repeatedly a fresh experience each time.
Maximum Apocalypse has already reached it’s initial goals but are still looking to raise more to unlock even more great items such as upgraded map tiles, new areas and scenarios. If you want to back this co-op game that is sure to be a blast, visit:
